How to Close Your Year Right:

Happy with Your Health? 

First. I’d be remiss if I did not begin our year’s close out with  –

I’m glad you are still here with me! Grateful we made it.  

How is your health?  

The one thing (okay, there are WAY more than one, but this one sticks out) that’s really bothered me about the global virus is this: 

Have you heard a SINGLE country send out an announcement saying it’s no longer as safe as you thought to be LAZY about your health anymore?? 

I don’t soften things because I WANT it to hit you.

Unvarnished Truth Telling Time

If you are fat. 

If you aren’t sleeping. 

If you are eating crappy food. 

If you are addicted sugar. 

If you aren’t moving your body often & purposefully. 

If you aren’t getting check ups. 

If you don’t know your bloodwork numbers.

What are you expecting to happen? 

Being unhealthy invites chronic conditions and disease. Chronic conditions and diseases make dying a higher possibility.

This has ALWAYS been true! Always.

This is a golden chance to grab the silver lining in the dirt sandwich that was 2020. 

Stop Fluffing around with your health.

How Did You Handle Your HEALTH this year? 

If you wouldn’t be happy to TEACH what you did this year to young kids, DO BETTER. 

Rant done 🙂

If you did well, you did well under DURESS. 

I lost 24lbs (11kgs) in under 3 months. No exercise. Food choices and truths faced. 

Any men reading this, stop being stereotypical and take better care of your health without turning your Wife into your Mother to “make” you.

Women if you’ve let yourself go (not talking about ageing), do not hold it against men that they like well kept, pretty things. EVERYONE does! You don’t have to get healthy “for” him, but you should WANT to do it FOR YOU!

Whew. I can exhale now. Job done.  I love you. Take care of you.

P.S. We have all seen how truly serious this is. What you do with your health now determines whether you are in a wheel chair or on a gold course at 70. Don’t make me visit you in your nursing home! 

If you can do better (hint: that’s basically everyone), start now. Don’t wait for Jan 1.
